While certainly not the most masculine fragrance, it is a beautiful flower garden recently showered upon with the sun now shining brightly. Spring in a bottle! I typically will layer with a green fragrance such as CK Truth (dewy green grass) to get this picture.... Fresh leaves budding forth, flowers blooming, birds chirping as the sun rises on a dew-drenched earth. Feels good to wear when coming out of the doldrums of winter. Bottle is attractive as well!

After reading Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez' review in Perfumes: The Guide, I was expecting the scent of paradise in a bottle. It was listed as one of the top men's fragrances of all time, along with Dior Homme, Azzaro, and New York by Parfums de Nicolai. It did not blow me away I have to say. It is fresh and clean, bright without being to sunny. It is also slightly mainstream and generic, and does not last very long. The "sillage" as it is called, is virtually non-existent. As a matter of fact, many of the fragrances that Mr. Turin praised turned out to be disappointments for me. Such as the aforementioned New York. And as far as his number one fragrance of all time, Mitsouko, it was a big let-down. One fragrance he and Ms. Sanchez don't mention by name that is interesting is Oud 27 by Le Labo. A wonderful cedar wood (agarwood actually) fragrance that reminds one of a box of cigars. Very expensive but worth it if you like woody orientals.Read full review
