    If you use one phone you can probably use another.

    (1) It would be better it caller ID was illuminated/lighted. (2) Disappointed that the ringer volume does no allow one to shut the ringer off. It only has has lo/med/hi but no off. The lo is not that low at all.

    Works fine but just few choices.

    Phone works as predicted, but there are very few choices for a "landline" wall phone. I replaced the exact type of phone with this purchase. Be watchful of the batteries it requires and check them often. If the batteries leak, then your phone is no good, that's what happened to mine. Was using "copper top" batteries, which I've gone to Energizers now. Too many copper tops that have leaked.

    Not completely what I wanted

    We wanted corded phones that would have a caller ID so we do not have to answer the phone when we do not know who is calling. These phones do that but the display on the handset does not light up making it incredibly difficult to see the number that is calling. You almost have to tip it to the light to see the display even when set for the most contrast. For the one we have on the wall in not well lit location we cannot see it so it is useless. For that reason alone I would not buy these again.

    Ok back up phone

    I still use a landline and talk for hours with my bffs. To avoid battery drainage, I use this phone. The numbers on the number pad are quite low and easy to miss in a hurry. For the price I couldn't expect more.

    An excellent handy-sized corded phone that works well.

    I love this Trimline Corded Phone because it is easy to use, the instructions for set up and use are understandable. It has just enough "bells & whistles" to make it modern, but not so many that you have to have a degree in engineering to figure out what in the world it's talking about in the instructions. It is just the perfect phone for me.
