    nice bit of kit

    This was stronger than a couple of guides that were seized in. I ended up having to cut valve stem off to pull valve , then drive guide out into motor. Valve guides snapped off where tool mounted

    Starter tool for dis-assembly of the Flathead's Valve system.

    Somewhat a "fair start", first extremely heavy. Became "Spoiled" upon borrowing an Original Ford tool. Much lighter, hence easy to move around. What is really lacking is an extended area for gaining additional leverage to install higher pressure Valve Springs. Have already cut the Offy bar in half, adding a Aluminum-bar replacement. Then machined a 3-inch area and added a Fulcrum[rocker like] for helping to install springs.

    This tool is a necessity when removing the valves in your flathead. Sturdy built. You will see these in many YouTube videos on rebuilding flatheads. Great tool, excellent value. I highly recommend buying this.

    Offenhauser flathead valve tool

    Great tool compared to the others I was using. Saved me a lot of time, I bet it works even better if your parts aren't all stuck together. Would buy it again and I recommend it.
