I bought this for relatives who are still in the analog age. They did not have any way to look at digital pictures produced by me, their kids or their grandchildren, either. I put some digital photos in this before shipping it off. I thought all I would have to do is plug in my flash drive and copy the pictures into the memory of the device. Maybe this is possible, but I ended up using the Kodak Easyshare software that comes with it to do the transfer. I put the software in an old laptop computer (my anti-virus software on my newer computer would not accept the software). It took an hour or more to figure out how to use this software to transfer the files. On my first try, I exceeded the memory on the frame, so I cut back the number of pictures, rather than going to all the trouble of downsizing the pictures to save on frame memory. The device mixed sample pictures with the ones I put in it, so I deleted the sample pictures to avoid that. The pictures I put in look great. Having put my family pictures in the frame, I mailed it to my non-technical relatives. I got a phone call a few days ago. They love this picture frame! They thanked me profusely for it. So, it was a success. I figure their grandchildren are probably tech savvy enough to figure out how to put their own pictures into the frame. While it can be difficult to put pictures into the memory in the device, it does seem to be easy enough for non-technical people to view those pictures, and that is the main reason I bought it.Read full review

This frame provides you flexibility of playing your video and music both, also the picture quality is very good, operation is bit easy to understand. Over all a very good product from kodak at a resonable prize. Down side - sound quality seems not to be so good and limited type of audio format supported. The on/off buttton seems not to be smooth. Internal storage capacity is limited(128 Mb only) despite of video playing capability which is undesirable - you will probably be forced to buy a separate dedicated SD/MMC card for this frame.
I decided to buy because it was selling for a good price. It is easy to use. Nice looking frame. It will hold a lot of pictures plus can hold more using memory cards. The only problem I had was not with the frame but with the 4GB SDHC memory card I got as a free gift. I cannot get it to work in the frame. It works in my computer but not in the frame. I did have a Compact Flash memory card and tried it and it works great in the frame. I love all the different things you can do with the frame like adding music and transitions when the pictures change. I will probably buy more of them.
I purchased this product for my mother who lives across the country and does not use computers. The Kodak Picture Frame allows her to see her pictures in high resolution without the use of a computer. The Kodak Digital Picture frame is the easiest to use that I know of. Mom is 84 and tried the photo CD's but found it too complicated and was afraid of messing up her cable TV settings. With the Kodak picture frame, I mail her an SD Card preloaded with a set of pictures from my computer. She simply puts the SD card and the slideshow begins. A second feature she found useful was being able to preview her pictures just by taking the SD card out of her camera and inserting into the DPF. The large size makes it much easier for her to preview the photos she want to print at home. The compact size of the unit makes it easy to take along when visiting friends and relatives. Instead of swapping photos she just sets up the DPF ! If there was anything to improve upon it would be the packaging, The trademark yellow box would be nice. The box should have a top that slides over the bottom; similar to the square boxes used with the old Carousel slide projector trays. The box would protect the product as well as keep all the family photos (SD Cards, USB drives, photo CD's) all in one place. Great product for all ages, I just purchased another 8 inch P series to try and will be looking for a larger size soon.Read full review
I am very satisfied with the M820, which works quite well with my Kodak Easy Share Camera and accessories! Have a lot of pictures of the new grand-baby already loaded onto the M820, and am amazed at the quality of color the M820 displays. Am certain we will enjoy having it in our home for years to come. This being our first venture into this space, we continue to be amazed at the many features contained in this small package!
The picture frame is great. I bought a 4 GHZ SD card with it and you can put tons of photos on it and it would take forever to fill it up. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my wife and she has it on her desk at work and LOVES it. We haven't tried all the features on it but it works great just out of the box after you insert the SD card. You won't go wrong in buying this product. I have made a practice of buying from ebayers with 99% or better feedback and haven't had a problem yet. Good luck
My sisterinlaw is pretty much homebound & her 4 grandchildren live far away. This "living" picture frame allows her to have her favorite memories right beside her. She loves it. It is very well made, includes a huge SD card, and here's a bonus I didn't expect it has a built in MP3 and plays music. The picture quality is very good. For the $69 price, I didn't expect all this. Can't think of anything I don't like about it.
I bought this frame for my parents wedding anniversary and uploaded pictures from all of the trips that had taken that year. The pictures look amazing on the frame! Colors are brilliant! Uploading the pictures onto the frame was slightly difficult since they were saved on the computer as opposed to a camera chip. Overall, a great frame for the price!
I had this Kodak editing program on my old laptop & loved it & was very excited to find it on eBay.

Product is very good and very good price and works really great. we can view the photos with back ground mp3 songs. Picture clarity is very good and especially the good memories. If we keep pictures in sites or mails, we won't see now and then. But if we keep in SD card and put in this frame, then they just roll pone by one and we won't miss any good memories.
