About this product

Product Information

This is an examination of the Kennedy assassination and its meaning today for the struggle for peace. The book lays out the journey that led Kennedy to his determination to break with the logic of the Cold War and lead the world in an entirely different direction, and how this meant he was considered a virtual traitor by some.

  • Requred, stunning reading. Douglass is an understated master.

One of the finest, ever, set of writings on this topic. No matter how many you have read, this takes it to another level, literally. James W. Douglass is a serious author that writes from the head and the heart. This will make you cry. I cannot recommend it enough. I have read all the great ones on this. Even my wife read this and she usually reads fiction. Something (couldn't say what) compelled her to read this, though..It's draws you in and requires you to read it. it is stunning.

  • A definitive summary of the coup.

Having read about two dozen books on the assassination, this and "Mary's Mosaic" are my last. All of my questions have been answered. The writer has done a great job here, fully researched, told in a manner which doesn't shock, offend or deny, as others before him have, the details match up with what I'd already known.
