    CyberPower Ec850lcd Battery and Surge

    This is being used to provide battery backup to a couple of modems and other electronic equipment in a convenience store. It is sized right to provide about 30 or so minutes of power to critical components and surge protection to the rest. Wall mountable. The LCD screen allows for quick status checking, part of the whole backup approach. Good price from this supplier.

    Hurricane Beater!

    Great product, both protects units and provides emergency backup. Hurricane Irma came through and while lights flickered, surged and eventually went out this unit protected my gear from all of that plus we plugged our small radio in for literally 3 hours of emergency power - we did not have (at that time) a battery radio - big mistake. When power came back on again surge protection was excellent and unit worked flawlessly.

    The old one sold me...

    I had an earlier model for years. I saved my work several times. I had to change the battery once after its normal life span, but that's it. I can only hope this new one provides the same excellent service.

    Better than APC

    This is not my first CyberPower unit. I like them much better thanACP units, work well for supporting my personal computer area. Have another on my Entertainwment Center electronics, and another in the basement for my internet comm equip. support. Even the shipping is reasonable and quick.
