Handy Hurricane
I bought a crappy 10 inch $30 small fan at Lowes last summer to cool me at night. Over the last 8 months it got loud due to crappy bearings /going off center, whatever. I reviewed fans and decided to pay over $50 for this big Lasko, which I’ve never done before. I grew up paying $5 for box fans at Kmart! Anywho, I received this Lasko and was really happy with it. It has 3 speed settings from windy to hurricane as far as I’m concerned. I had to set it on power setting 1 across the room on a desk to get similar cooling effect at night that the crappy fan gave me 18 inches from my face. This Lasko rotates upwards so I use it in the day and switch it to power 3 (hurricane mode to me! LOL!) to blow the cold air from the floor up towards the ceiling to circulate the air in my bedroom. Compact, lightweight and very efficient
Perfect for Indoor Cycling! It has a very direct and forceful wind direction. It is NOT the quietest fan, but it is excellent at what it does. I had a oscillating pedestal fan that I used for my indoor cycling set up, but this is extremely more efficient. The fan head rotates almost 360 degrees so the airflow will go precisely where you want it to. I do NOT know how good this fan will be a Summer/Heat Relief fan, but if you need a strong, focused compact fan this will do the trick. This is PERFECT for an indoor cycling set-up. I put it on the floor and in front of my front wheel on the bicycle. The air is almost too much (and cold) when I start cycling, so I drape my towel over the handlebars to block the airflow. Then as I start to perspire I remove the towel and the airflow blows ... Perfect for Indoor Cycling! It has a very direct and forceful wind direction.
