Unless you are old enough to remember Killer Kowlaski who had the claw grip and have that much strength in you hands, even with help you will not be able to set this trap. Pay the price and get the over sized scissors to compress the springs to set this trap. The good thing is when a fat woodchuck goes thru he/she is toast. The safety hooks work great once the trap is compressed and very easy to position. The first woodchuck dispatched that is no longer mowing your garden this trap has paid for.

Quick, easy purchase process, The traps were in perfect, new, lubed condition to prevent any rusting, etcetera. The items were boxed up and sealed well for shipping as well as arriving much faster than anticipated. Lastly, the price was well within what I would consider a reasonable range for 6 traps.
