    1989 F150 4x4 oem quad shock upper mount with Moog hd front coils or using a rough country leveling spring

    I have leveled several 4wd F150’s over the years with the moog variable rate hd front springs. Never once have I been able to achieve proper specs on the alignment rack with any other brand of adjustable caster/camber shim for these trucks. Have spent 100’s of dollars over the years trying different brands. I own a repair shop and work on a lot of this particular body style truck as I am from a farm community. There have been several trucks that I have went through and replaced everything. I mean every bushing and joint Ford put on these funky twin I beams. Still I could never achieve proper specs until these shims I have recently purchased. Basically the moog spring is very close to the rough county “leveling” front coil.
