As I said in our emails back and forth, the listing on the description and pictures show these knobs having the pitting and scratches are in the description. That is why they are antiqued, otherwise they would be advertised as shiny newly polished turned modern brass knobs. I also told you that you can return them for a refund. Not sure what else I can do to make you happy.

More than fifty Dollar US for eBay's International Shipping is just too much money for a small parcel sent internationally between the States and Australia. eBay speaks of lower rates for their international shipping compared to other carriers, but I find the price exorbitant in fact, no matter if I was made aware of it in advance or not.
