Digitally remastered and expanded two CD deluxe edition of the 1970 debut album from the British Metal legends including a bonus disc containing nine previously unreleased tracks. Black Sabbath, the album, is often regarded as one of the first Heavy Metal full length releases. The album reached #8 on the UK Album Chart. Following it's US release in May 1970 by Warner Bros. Records, the album reached #23 on the Billboard 200, where it remained for over a year, selling a million copies. 17 tracks. Sanctuary. 2009.

    Extended release just like the original, with new remixes etc.

    This is ever bits as good as the first time I heard this historic album. No one knew who Ozzy Osbourne was (it even aid "Ossie" on the liner notes!) and least of all the other members, but boy was that ever a pleasant surprise! Even the remixes and now the infamous "Evil Woman (Don't Play Your Games With Me) is available for the first time on a US release version.

    One of the best albums of all time, remastered w bonus material

    Nice release w a bonus disc of unreleased material from one of, if not the best albums of all time. The remaster didn't sound much better than the version I have from the Black Box but the bonus is worth the price alone.

    Regarding the "Black Sabbath" 2 CD Set.

    It was worth "adding to" my Black Sabbath "collection, definitely good to have"! I't was sort of "expensive shipping, coming all the way from the "UK" but cool. It's a good addition to my Black Sabbath stuff too. Next time I buy something from "over sea's" i might think "twice", before I buy it, it took about 3 week's to get it!
