This item works great.
prior to purchasing this product my crawl space area always smelled musty from heating system condensation. After the first week I noticed a significant decrease in the musty smell and also that there seemed to be less dust in the air. Now after more than 90 days. I can say it has completely satisfied all I desired it to do. It runs less in cold weather which is good. I am considering purchasing a second unit as my crawl space is about 2000 square feet varying in height of 2 feet to over 7 feet. I put this in my crawl space hoping for good results. Reviews on this are pretty good but I'm not having much luck with it. I've got a 1700 sq foot crawl that has a musty odor. It is dry but just smells musty. I've had this fan running for 2 weeks now and it has never shut off at 59 percent humidity setting. I still have a musty smell under my home. I've tried shutting some of my vents but still no luck. I will say the fan is not whisper quite like others have stated. It really is a bit noisy and resonant thought my home. Guess I wasted 100 bucks and I'm only running my electric bill up. I put this in my crawl space hoping for good results. Reviews on this are pretty good but I'm not having much luck with it. I bought two of these fans they seem to be well made and was easy to install. The first one I installed ran for over a week nonstop with no issues. I then ordered the second one and installed it and set both at 60% to see if they would shut off and they are working good at this time. I cannot hear them at all, and I only used two screws on each to install them. The hardest part was I ran a new circuit under the house with two receptacles before the first fan arrived.I bought two of these fans they seem to be well made and was easy to install. Great Crawl Space Ventilator.
220 CFM is quite enough for a small crawl space. So easy to install. Dehumidistat is awesome feature. Plus, Cold temperature lock out so it won't blow cold air inside.
