Almost ready to use
Comes with adapter cable to Sub Zero harness. The only thing is the clip that clamps tray temp switch that starts ice dump doesn't line up with the sensor. There is a ident in the casting for the proper location. It is difficult to pry the clip from the wrong location without damaging it or the heating coil but it can be done with care.

Sub Zero Ice maker replacement
The ice maker works great but there is a compatibility issue with the full cutoff switch. The arm on the ice maker is not long enough to reach the cutoff lever in the ice bin and the unit continues to make ice when it is full. Is there a fix for that?

Works on my 642 SZ
It works good. The only gripe is it doesn't turn off making ice early enough. It will always over flow the ice cube drawer unless you move the ice to the front of the drawer. Other than that it make great ice.

Wotks in 601f
Works in the subzero 601f. Very close to the oem model it replaced. Easy to install. Will buy another as a back-up. On the 601f I had to radially twist the inserted piece of the metal arm about 20 degrees (before inserting) to get the ice level lever to work properly with the other part of the mechanism that hangs in the ice tray. After twisting, the arm is not able to be put all the way up to lock the maker off. However, the maker can still be turned off with the push button ice switch on the freezer.Works in the subzero 601f. Very close to the oem model it replaced. Easy to install.
