While the listing mentioned it was used, the machine runs as smoothly as a new unit. Regarding its physical state: there are a few minor cosmetic scratches from regular use, but they are superficial and don’t bother me at all. I did notice a small bend in the bottom corner of the screen assembly but doesn’t effect pixels. Good value and appearance.

No scratches, no scuffs, not even a hint of wear on a single key on the keyboard (and a battery cycle count less than 200 cycles). And a one-year SquareTrade warranty is just icing on the cake. The laptop shipped right away and arrived fast, and was professionally packed.
