Packaging was slim to cut down on shipping but the mp3 player was WELL protected and wrapped in lots of bubble tape on top of being sealed in a baggie. Language was in Japanese but there are tutorials online how to change it that can be done relatively easily, or you could just translate with your phone and memorize.
