Solid monitoring option, with small comfort issues
Sound is fantastically clear. they do seem to perhaps exaggerate or at least make more obvious the stereo image compared to some lower-end cans. My only complaint would be that they're less comfortable than I would like. After a while, I adjust how they are sitting because they start to hurt the top of my head where the strap rests. These headphones have immaculate sound with comfort and long hours of listening capability. The clamping force is a little low, some times it feels a little loose but overall for the price you are getting professional grade sound on a consumer grade budget. Definitely recommend a headphone amplifier due to the high impedance. I'm using the fiio e12a. My new favorite!
The AKG K712 Pro headphones are now my favorite headphone. My old Sennheiser Massdrop HD6XX are not even in the same ballpark as they pale in the lack of high frequency. The AKG's give and give and hold nothing back. Now I find myself listening to my entire music collection all over again just to hear what I've been missing.
