Do Away with Aluminum Weight
Upon installing these heavy duty plastic stiffeners, I was completely impressed with how they remove all the flex that is encountered under racing conditions. With a few severe " endows " and snagging a track post with the right front tire,,,...NO damage to the bulk heads incurred. I`ve done this before and literally bent the aluminum bulk head and ripped out the mounting screws. Not with these installed can that happen... Now its on to the weight saving characteristics. I don`t have exact weight calculations but just holding a plastic bulk head compared to an aluminum one, there is a considerable weight reduction going back to plastic. IMHO only,. I recommend this product and will be installing them each time I return to plastic .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
