    Must have in your music collection

    Great compilation of what may be their best live performances. Or at least the ones that were filmed, although I haven’t seen all of their videos. I’ve seen Song Remains The Same and I think these performances are better. One major difference is Robert Plant. I love his singing but by the time they played Madison Square Garden in ’73 where SRTS was filmed (and some of which is also on this DVD) he wasn’t pushing his voice as much (understandably) but he was also acting over the top and narcissistic. When I watch SRTS I just watch the rest of the band or close my eyes. On this DVD Robert Plant is a bit more tolerable to watch. There’s a lot to watch on this DVD. I didn’t time anything but I would say that, not counting the interviews, there’s approximately 5 hours of performances. ...

    The Definitive LIVE Zeppelin Experience!

    Officially known as "The DVD." Better than "The Song Remains The Same." This almost didn't happen. When these tapes were found in Page's archives they were damp & almost unsalvageable. They had to be baked to keep them from falling apart. The restoration was a long & painstaking process. What emerged is the definitive LIVE Zeppelin experience. My 1st copy of this got scratched, so I've purchased this TWICE! Well worth it. A MUST for all Zep fans!

    What can't be said about this set. Amazing footage, classic Song Remains the Same DVD and another 2dvds worth of killer kuts. Any Led He'd will love it, the only noteworthy thing is they never added 10 years gone to the Knebworth fest footage.
