    Nice short-lived answering machine.

    This is the fourth machine of this model that I have ordered. Call me a fool for repeating an action with poor results, but each one I have purchased has pooped out in less than a year. Since they are pretty cheap, I order another one like it. But I can't say much good about their longevity. Works great until it doesn't!

    Wonderful product for answering your phone calls........

    This answering machine replaces an answering machine I have had for the past 20 years. It finally quit and I wanted to replace it with the exact machine and I was fortunate enough to have found it on ebay. This AT&T Model 1740 Digital Answering System Machine is excellent for answering calls and with the standard message, it allows for all the "ROBO-CALLS" to by pass the machine and not leave messages. This answering machine is excellently what I wanted and does a wonderful job at answering my phone calls.

    Excellent and exact item as described, easy to set up, use access remotely. Great item. Has good user friendly features, manuals are easy to read, has quick set-up guide, All cables and cords are included. ( I am not a techy guy but it only took me approx 5 mins to set up, record and put into service. Recommend 100%!!
