    The silver shows up well on steel plate

    I haven't used the red yet, but the silver shows up well on raw metal. Both had about a half inch of lead break off the first time I sharpened them, but I think that was due to trauma in shipping, not manufacturing. I would buy again

    More hassle than its worth..

    The lead is super soft and will break or melt continuously.. After the first day, the entire shaft of lead in 2 pencils starting coming out the back of the pencil.. Trying to sharpen was ridiculous.. Kept breaking the lead.. I'll stick to soapstone..

    Metal pencil

    They work good but when using pencil don't use on a angle,use at a 90 degree angle ( straight up and down) or tip will crumble otherwise they do the job
