    Easy to set up

    I bought this to add to an existing pair of the exact same adapters to enable two data hungry devices to get hardwired to the router to free up WiFi capacity for other devices. Really easy to add two more extensions and objective achieved.

    Waste of money.... didn't work long

    I only started using these 3 weeks ago even though I bought them a couple weeks previous, the first pair lasted about two weeks and stopped working,this pair was used most of the day to connect Android box for kids television.... the second just stopped working this morning and have only been used in my bedroom at night for Android box...... wouldn't buy again very expensive for refurbished item that didn't work for long....extremely dissapointed Also trying to see other reviews but can only see 12 out of 23 like the others are hidden. Would like to see them if possible....

    Simple and discreet

    Perfect for adding an extension to internet around the house, My wifi doesnt fill the whole house due to solid walls, so this and a another router means that we can have wifi anywhere in the house and garden. simply plug in and connect and it works with no additional setting up. Perfect for the price. (Note: The electrical ring must be on the same circuit for it to be able to connect)

    TP-Link has solved a few problems

    I think this product is great - it forms a internet network throughout the house and allows access when out of range of my wireless router. In addition my TV, which requires an Ethernet cable, is connected which gives me access to much wider choice of programmes.

    Blocks some protocols

    The system worked fine until I got a Canon printer, which I believe uses the Bonjour protocol for communication. These powering sockets just don't support it. Sometimes it works for an hour, then the printer loses connectivity. Definitely the TP-Link because a direct connection to my router is fine. The internet is full of accounts of people struggling, of the latest firmware resolving this (no), and ultimately of people giving up. Eventually binned them and switched to (slightly pricier) Devolo units - work fine.
