This is One Great Strobe
The Westcott FJ400 represents my first plunge into purchasing studio lighting. Luckily I have a friend who has allowed me to use the same model, so my decision to buy was much easier. My experience using his and mine has been overwhelmingly positive: With an Octa-S 26" softbox attached the FJ400 produces excellent skin tones in single-model portraits, and pairing the FJ400 to the FJ-X2m trigger makes everything easier, from controlling multiple lights to adjusting power levels remotely. This strobe will be an integral component in my studio setups as I evolve my skills in portrait photography.
