No noticeable defects. it is plasticity feeling, assuming theres a plastic coating but thats what you get for the price. Very happy! Only negative is with the sizing. I have a 21 mm lug size and bought a 21mm strap, which was a bit snugg (which i expected) but the quick release pins themselves wouldn't fit at all on my watch! had to switch with pins i already owed. might be necessary to buy a size smaller.

I buy a watch because it's unique--and I demand a band that can also bring something to the table, or wrist, so to speak. Perhaps Dana went out and slayed the very croc my band is from--all I know is I got premium quality, beautiful appearance, great condition (of course--it's new), and amazing value, given they had to go out and catch that croc. Will buy from Dana again!
