    Too expensive, missing features

    The only reason I bought these very expensive ($500) name-brand saddlebags for my Victory Hammer S is that they were guaranteed to fit the bike since they were made by Victory as well. I would not recommend anyone else make the same mistake. Also, they are missing what I think of as basic features that less expensive bags have, such as the ability to be locked and a simple strap to keep the lid from falling too far open and damaging the leather hinge. Finally, when I looked closely at the pair I received I saw evidence of poor workmanship in the bags' construction. I gave them three stars because they do look good on the bike and they serve their intended function. But the value just isn't there for the high price I paid.
