There are philosophers, theologians, and television talk-show hosts offering a variety of answers. Clinical psychologist Dr. Jon Garrison will not answer those questions for you. Every person, even an atheist, gathers evidence and makes their own "leap of faith." What he will do is present a 2000-year-old traditional-Christian perspective on what the Bible says about these issues. Here, in down-to-earth language, Dr. Garrison explains how God -begins to progressively reveal Himself through a man named Abraham; - continues that revelation through a nation called Israel; -gives detailed Old Testament predictions of a twice-coming Messiah; - reveals Himself more obviously through that foretold Messiah's first - appearance; and - details the pathway to eternal life by faith in Jesus Christ. Dr. Garrison is a clinical psychologist whose main work is interviewing and assessing adult and adolescent defendants facing criminal charges. He also has a passion for making the theology of the Bible accessible to the average layperson.
