    Great sewing machine with modern features

    I needed a sewing machine for my holster making business. I needed a good heavy-duty machine for sewing light leather vinyl fabrics. Most importantly I need a machine with good speed controls. The Singer 6800 is perfect for what I do. The speed control is spot-on and allows me, a beginner, to show down the sewing machine to match my lack of skill. Being able to see the bobbin, with its top loading design with a clear window means not running out of bobbin thread. Newer machines like this one also come with a needle threading device, perfect for not so young eyes. The machine is strong enough to sew through the weigh material I use daily.     New Singer is a keeper!

    I've had my eye on this machine for over a year and it is just as good as I was hoping for. I am a Singer machine person and this machine is easy to use and was not hard to learn. I have not been using it long, but I have confidence that it will hold up and sew for as long as I need it to.
