About this product

Product Information

This is a Black & Decker Edge Hog tool for trimming the edges of lawns and making small trenches for laying cables. It has 2.25 HP and runs electrically, which makes it very quiet and of course removes the need for petrol. The motor is high-torque, so little physical effort is needed to run the machine, and a built-in cord retainer keeps the power cord at the right length whilst the machine is in use.

    Great edger. Was very satisfy that I have a edgehog by black & Decker again.

    Because it performed very well just like mine that went out,reason why when I saw a used edgehog being advertise for sell I tried it out. Runs smooth and does a excellant job leaving my lawn edge sharply and looking great. I like this type electric edger Black & Decker made. Theres nothing bad about this product.

    not as heavy duty as original

    wheels and shaft ....grips...not as heavy duty as original edge hog....unit seems somewhat cheaper overall......still edges good....motor doesn't seem to handle the load as well as original....(got 15 yrs out that one....hopefully will get at least half that much from newer unit )

    Black and Decker LE750 Edge Hog Edger

    This edger replaced a B & D edger that I have owned for nigh on 30 years. This one seems sturdier, particularly in the handle and shaft. It, also, seems more powerful. I think I would like to have more of a knife edge on the blade though. I think this might give the grass edge a sharper finish. I will try this as a replacement balde is nit very expensive. I have used it twice since the purchase and it has performed very well. Better than my trusty old one.

    Lite and easy to use.

    If you only have a small area that needs to be cleaned up, this beats the big noisy gas powered machines. While it could use a little more heft for control, it does fine for senior hands. Just watch out for that power cord! Easy assembly and instructions. Lite weight and powerful.

    Smart, Smooth, & Quiet

    Edging can be a pain but this quiet little tool makes it much easier. Plenty of power, lay out the cord & your edging. No fuel to spill, engine to start, weight to deal with, and very little noise.. The LE750 sports a blade guard that minimizes grinding the pavement edge. The height adjustment is easy, there is also a setting allowing the machine to function as a slitter. Compared to gas versions I've fought with this design blows them away. As a home owner who only edges a few times a season this machine does a great job.
