Books where in extremely good condtion. I would say excellent except that it had stickers on them. One was hard to get off and I had to put a flower sticker over it. But it was on the back so it didn't make any difference.

The above answers are my opinion. I like Southern cookbooks. This one is what I look for.
I like cookbooks that give us a glimpse into the past and those that represent specific local areas. Charleston has a long history of good food and this book is a representation of that history. And there is the enjoyment of great recipes that produce great food. Thank You Charleston.

Charlestown Receits Repeats by Junior League of Charleston
I Love this cookbook. I was soooo excited to get it. This is actually my second copy. I bought my first one after a fabulous week-end in Charleston spent at my all-time favorite bed and breakfast. After enjoying breakfast and afternoon tea daily, (Muffuns, biscuits, cheese grits, and cookies) I was told that many of the recipes could be found here in this cookbook! I was so excited. But last year, my puppy enjoyed chewing on this and three of my other favorites. 😵💔😁 It has taken me a while, but I have finally found a replacement copy. ( Now I can dispose of the loose pages from the first copy that I have kept in a ziplock bag since my puppy chewed up the spine and cover of my original copy.) 😊 Worth the wait and every $.
