    Good but beware

    I have been using about 2 months now and pic quality 1020 HD very good. I'm transmitting about 20 feet from an up stairs room down to family room. I have to admit i have had to reset it twice, just a matter of pushing the button on the transmitter. Very simple but could be an annoyance. It would be nice if it would transmit to 2 receivers I don't think it can. You have to have the activation code to unlock and it can only be gotten if purchased from Wal-Mart. No other way! So if you buy on line make sure you have the code to unlock no ifs or buts. I think I might have caused the problem of having to reset when I lost video signal for a Period of time. Oh yes, you also, not sure way, have to use the remote that come with it to set it up initially. The other one is used for the HDMI switch ...

    HDMI extender

    I was expecting this device to send the same quality of HDMI to the other flat screen TV, and as it was easy to set up, the quality is horrible. Everything looks like a cartoon. In addition to that, there is a lot of digital drop out. The TV that is receiving the signal, and the receiver itself is about 15 feet away, technically in another room, but there is no wall or door. It is line of site.

    You get what you pay for.

    I paid around $50 bucks for this item, It came quick which was nice, but the quality is not as good as I had expected. After doing more research and realizing these kits can run very pricey, I now understand why. I guess you get what you paid for. If you are looking for an organized alternative just for TV watching purposes, this can do it. But for gaming purposes, the quality is sub-par.

    Good quality if your expectations are not high

    I purchased this for a Golden Tee arcade machine. The video res. on the machine is only 720p. It does not have a lot of demand for frame rate or latency. It works great for this application! No noticable lag, the video quality does not suffer. hook up was easy. This would likely not work so well on a console game with higher demands. But for my purposes it works great. the TX side is inside of my arcade cabinet out of sight. the Rx is behind my flat screen. I have had no issues. just turn on the game and play with no cords to trip over! I would have given 5 stars but it my be misleading to those using it for purposes with higher demand.

    ok if you only need one system

    works only Intermittently in our living room, then screen says lost signal and its over. bought high speed cables and wifi booster and have strong signal. still does not work, even though sender and receiver says all is well. i do have another one in the bedroom and that one works ok. maybe you cant have more than one sender and receiver in the house.
