Most dependable large scale hinges money can buy!
When properly installed and "pinned" these hinges are just about the most dependable hinges money can buy. They are somewhat easy to remove if you have a mishap and need to make repairs (just pull the cotter pins with small tweezers). Installing these hinges is a little more difficult because inexpensive special tools are required-Dubro #660 hinging tool set. THESE ARE FOR LARGE SCALE MODELS! The model I used these on was a 50cc 1/4 scale giant CAP 232. When properly installed and "pinned" these hinges are just about the most dependable hinges money can buy. They are somewhat easy to remove if you have a mishap and need to make repairs (just pull the cotter pins with small tweezers). Good and adaptable for giant scale models.
Excellent hinges for giant scale control surfaces. I also use them with music wire to make the rudder, elevators, etc removable. I even used two half hinged to eextend the rudder hinge to the rear wheel.
