This mini series was a great conclusion to the Lonesome Dove series. It adds another chapter to the lives of the characters in the original series. I enjoyed learning more about what happened to Loraina when she was captured by Blue Duck and her life after the death of Gus. The tale of Lonesome Dove draws to a conclusion as Texas Ranger, Woodrow Call, pursues his final villian,Joey Garza. If you loved Lonesome Dove, you'll love the Streets of Loredo too.

It was realistic. The movie was very believable The acting was superb. Randy Quaid was quite funny.I loved the part that George Carlin played.Garner Specek and Shepard were outstanding. It was not phony like some Westerns are. Everything about the movie, dress ,,scenery and props were all that made movie realistic. Also Wes Studi fit the part perfectly . All the characters played were very believable.Historicaly it was fairly accurate.

Shocking, over-the-top barbarian violence, and some characters' back stories don't fit with the Lonesome Dove movie - (Pea Eye and Laurie?). But I love the whole saga, while I have not read the books. Meets my expectations, having started with Dead Man's Walk and Comanche Moon.
