If you're someone who needs to scan a fair amount of paper, but you don't want to invest in a desktop scanner, and you're tight on space, this is the scanner to buy. I'm a notary public and I have to scan large amounts of paper from time to time. I have a smaller mobile scanner and a scanner as part of my multifunction printer. The Epson 300W fits what is lacking on both. I previously owned a Brother ADS 2000 but the software isn't supported on Mac anymore and I don't like the newer software they have for other scanners so I jumped to the Epson 300W. It has an auto document feeder that scans up to 20 pages at a time, you can scan via USB or WIFI and it has a battery so you can take it with you. It is a little heavier, so I don't think I would, since I carry all my supplies with me. But I couldn't pass it up when I saw it. Now I understand why so many of my colleagues recommend it! It's easy to use on Mac or Windows and you can adjust the resolution, which is so important when scanning large files. Highly Read full review
