About this product

Product Information

Known as Mega Lo Mania outside of the U.S., Tyrants: Fight Through Time is a world-building strategy game. Levels take place through progressive periods of history on a fictional (though familiar) planet. Players choose to lead one of four factions in their battle through the eras. Often compared to Populous, much of the gameplay in Tyrants is devoted to resource management and technological development, but players face rivals on each map who must be conquered. Graphics are soft and almost cartoon-like, but not so much as to belie the bellicose aspects of the game. The Tyrants cartridge also features an Easter Egg that allows Genesis gamers to play a version of the arcade game Sinistar by entering a special code at the password screen.

  • Excellent real time strategy

Based on what elements you have at your disposal, you can create mighty troops to conquer the sectors. Remember to manage troops well as well as resources.I think using the time flow is key. A+++++ Really good real time strategy which doesn't concentrate on building so much as making aliances and mining elements.

  • Build civilisation of your own!

I played this game when i was a kid and liked it a lot. In this game you act as a ruler of a small civilization which grows and develops with a flow of time. You have a map separated in squares. Select the square and your small colony starts to evolve. As well as the other ruler's colonies. You gather resources, your population grows. You develop new, advanced technologies and weapons... Everything is pretty simplified but it makes the game more addictive! In later levels you build spaceships and battle with several rulers at once :) This is a very nice and addictive game. :)
