Power and then some
This amp has more power than I could ever use! Unless I want the cops to show up, of course. I had a deal drop in my lap I couldn't refuse. I picked up a pair of JBL PRX425's and the Crown XTi 4002 was the recommended amp. Extreme overkill, being I'm not a DJ or musician. I'm just using it for a stereo. Take my advice though and hook up a laptop to this baby. Using the front panel controls is lacking and clunky. Download Band Manager and get lost in tweaking everything from EQ, Crossover, Bridged Mode, Save Venue settings and a whole lot more! I'm extremely happy with the clean power from this amp. If you have the cash to spend, you won't be disappointed! Once you hook this bad boy up, get ready. This amp is also 3200 watts (1600 X 2 channels).This amp has more power than I could ever use! Lightweight with awesome features
You can plug it n and play or you can set it from the amps front panel to do many things. Audio Architect is another way to set up this awesome amp. Bridge mono bridge subs,all sorts of pre filters. Worth every penny new or used. I own 5 of them very happy never had a issue. Very easy to link them together.

Great all purpose Amp
Excellent amp, I use it to drive 3 x mid freq boxes each side of my PA, perfect for my application. Its has less features than the itech 4000 that I run (on subs) but you would expect that as it cost a lot less. Its very light , less than 9kg and thats the main reason I got it to replace amps that were 3 x as heavy and not as powerful. My back feels a lot better. If you are work on your own running small to medium live PA, these amps will improve your life.Excellent amp, I use it to drive 3 x mid freq boxes each side of my PA, perfect for my application. Lightweight powerhouse!
I bought this to power my TC Sounds 5400 LMS Ultra 18" in an 130 liters sealed enclosure. The LMS-U needs this kind of power and to be EQ'd down low. I run the Crown XTi 4002 in bridge mode on the 4 ohm load with few problems, even with a +3dB gain @22Hz. The built in DSP user interface and HiQNet connectivity is superb, so many settings to play around with to make it sound the best. The XTi 4002 is powerful and lightweight. It is running cold, the fan is rarely coming on, and it is still quiet for home theater use.
