Product Information
MorphX is a third-person shooter starring a human protagonist on an alien-infested planet. The game's "hook" is the character's ability to absorb DNA from the aliens he encounters, allowing him to acquire powers complementing the guns, grenades, clubs, and other weapons found along the way. The world has been completely ravaged by the hostile aliens, and you are part of a small group of survivors that hid from the invasion in an underground shelter. To save your allies, you'll need to fight hulking beasts, flying monstrosities, and other horrors lurking behind bombed-out buildings and in other devastated areas. Creating DNA chains from the alien essence you absorb will imbue your character with increased health regeneration, improved vision, and an assortment of other mutant powers. There's one catch, however: each time you absorb DNA, you become more like the creatures you are battling. MorphX was originally titled, "The Swarm."
