    Great action adventure tale with that Disney touch!

    The Moonspinners is one of my favorite Disney films. I have seen it numerous times and never tire of it. Hayley Mills and Peter McEnery are great in their roles and Eli Wallach is the perfect villain. This film is very entertaining and, in my opinion, one of Disney's best. You can't go wrong if you add this one to your collection. I look forward to the enjoyment of seeing it many more times!

    The Moon-Spinners (Disney Does Poor Quality DVD)

    This is an entertaining light suspense mystery with a dash of romance thrown in for good measure. I must admit that I was a huge Hayley Mills fan growing up but this is not one of my favorites. Originally released in 1964 this film stars Hayley Mills, Eli Wallach, Joan Greenwood, Pola Negri and Peter McEnery. It was directed by James Neilson and produced by Bill Anderson. Set on the breathtaking island of Crete, the scenery is beautiful. It is the story of two tourists who accidentally encounter jewel thieves. Nikky (Hayley Mills) and her Aunt Francis (Joan Greenwood) are on vacation in a small Greek fishing village, staying in a sleepy little village inn. Nikky starts to fall for the adorable Mark Camford (Peter McEnery) and ultimately must help rescue him when things start to heat up. I ...

    entertaining adventure for any family viewing

    Had seen this many years ago and was captivated my the light story and great cinematography. A classic Disney feature. Haley Mills , as the title character fulfills all that you would expect. A great supporting cast as well. Just enough action to keep a good pace. If you are looking for the special effects that are in todays pictures....don't look here, but DO expect to be pleased with what you see. The Moon Spinners is a classic that is timeless. Great viewing experience.

    An Excellent Family Film

    I bought this DVD because I grew up watching Hayley Mills movies! She was my role model as a child...starting with her POLLYANNA movie where she found the "good" in every situation, or person, that she met. I thoroughly enjoyed re-watching the Moon Spinners and still jumped at all the scary places! The quality of the color and sound was excellent on this DVD. It sure brought back great memories of movies that could be viewed by the whole family and it was fun to see the fashions of the time. I would recommend this movie to any family, especially those with young ladies.

    Good family entertainment.

    Brings back good memories. Had a big crush on Hayley Mills when I was young. Picture quality is not the best, but remember the movie is over 50 years old!
