A solid compilation
This movie was derived from the first three episodes of the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA show. The best way to experience this is to watch the first three episodes in their entirety because the movie edits out a lot of material that fleshes out the story. If watching the three episodes is not possible… then the movie will give you an abbreviated version.

I watched this again recently. I remember when I was back in High School watching this series. It was really on just one season. The special effect are not bad considered the time frame. I fine the computer funny now because they look nothing like modern computers. Remember personal computer were just starting out then. The pilot movie is slight different than the series. Also many of the actors went on to do other shows. You might be surprised at the number of faces that you recognize. Richard Hatch is even doing the new series. The complete original series in now available on DVD. The new series is darker and nastier than this innocent version. It is worth revisiting.I watched this again recently.
