The most important recordings in country music history in one 8 cd box set.  CDs are Polygram releases from 1985-1987.  The box set was released by Mercury in 1995.  This contains every song Hank recorded for MGM and Sterling Records between 1946 and 1952  (every single track and every LP track).  169 recordings in chronological order in premium sound quality.  Contains non-session recordings and many rarities.  Each CD contains an 8-12 page booklet with session information, essays by Colin Escott, Nick Tosches, and many photos.  Includes all 14 Luke The Drifter recordings.  All CDs and Jewel Cases are pristine.
