Installed this new Samsung battery in the phone, which showed that it arrived with a 56% charge. Followed the supplied instructions, to allow the battery to completely discharge, and then charged it fully. As instructed, repeated this discharge-recharge cycle 4 times over the next few days. Since then, this battery has been working well, and holding a charge. No complaints.
