    Basic but complete AM2/AM2+ motherboard

    The board came neatly packaged, arrived very fast, and the price was pretty fair for a motherboard of a somewhat now obsolete architecture. It works perfectly and has given new life to old components as a file server for my home (OpenMediaVault). Features I liked: * I appreciate that it has integrated video; for a server I just need the most basic display capabilities * The board has a pretty compact form factor, pretty barebones which was ideal for my use case * It has 4 memory slots (currently fitted with 4x2GB modules) * Enough SATA ports to support boot plus mirrored/RAID drives

    used, in 2017, it is a cost-effective motherboard for older hardware

    I bought this board as a base for a "new" backup pc. I used older hardware that had been displaced from upgrades to my main rig. I updated the bios, put in a new battery, threw in my old Phenom II X6 1100T, spare 8 gigs of ram, old 750watt psu, and a cheap Nvidia card... It runs windows 10 great! It does everything I need, and nobody would know its running on old hardware...
