I bought a brand new copy of this cookbook years ago, and because I used it so much, I wore it out, I had to look for another copy and luckily I found one on Ebay. My favorite recipes are for pancakes and waffles and cheese pizza.

Some 35+ years ago, in high school home economics class, we used Betty Crocker for all the basics. The same cookbook was found in my grandmother's and mother's kitchens. The tested recipes, along with all the complete illustrations on how to do just about everything...with a pinch of helpful hints, measurements, substitutions, and cuts of meats thrown in. I bought this edition for my son's family, including his wife and three young children, whom now wish to break from the fast food frenzy into some real home cooking. So much healthier for all of them and they have eagerly engaged in already testing how to make their own pies from scratch, including the crust, along with various other soup and dinner recipes.
