Great item as described, really pleased with it. The only little niggle I have is for something that crossed the Atlantic and was reasonably fragile. It wasn’t really well packed could’ve easily been damaged ,but it was sent through eBay global shipping and I have to say I don’t know if it left its original country of destination, well packed and was changed when he got to the global shipping part but it’s the second item I’ve had from global shipping which has been badly packed. Just saying.

The handles are soft enough to reduce shock but wont turn gummy like others.
Anyone who has been any trade that puts nails into wood will tell you that Estwing Hammers are absolutely the best there is. They do the job and last buy one and retire with it still in you pouch, I had two stolen several years back, and three more burned up in our house fire, or I wouldn't even be in the market. They were all twenty years old or better. I don't know about wherer I live now but where I used to live there was an old man that would re-mill the faces of them after uou beat them flat. Estwings are the Best hammers!
Used these hammers for over 30 years when I started out on a framing crew building houses. I love these hammers! I still even have the one I started with, the claw shows the wear over the years being about an inch shorter.
