    Does what it's supossed to do.

    This is one of those things that simply does what it's supposed to and doesn't cost a fortune to do it. I would imagine there are not that many people who own hot tubs or swim spas but this is one thing everybody who has one, needs. All you do is pull back on the handle, sucking whatever you need out of your tub into the handle for you to dispose of later. You could spend twice as much for a thing you have to plug in or hook up to a hose that only cleans the bottom... or you could get this, jump in and be done in no time. This gets floaties too! I've used mine 3 or 4 times and love it. Just get one. You'll be glad you did.

    Works well, but can easily scratch tub shell

    We have used the spa wand several times to remove sand and other heavy debris from our hot tub over that past few months. It works as advertised, and I like it. The only problem, which is a major one in my mind, is that the end is made from a hard plastic that has permanently scratched the shell of my tub (A Hot Springs model) where I pushed it along the bottom to suck up a "line" of debris. The MFG should really have used another softer type of material that would not do this.

    Great and will buy another

    I had one for years and it finally broke so I bought a cheap alternative that was a waste of money and time. Just bought this one again so all set for many more years. Note I have it in a vacation rental so probably well used and abused and does the job.

    MAGIC WAND, Just add water.

    I waved in around and around. I recited the sacred ancient incantations. All for nothing! So I resorted to manual labor and began to stroke the pump. It really does work like magic! This is my third wand in ~35 years. Sometimes the glue joints fail which is easily remedied when carefully redone with PVC cement. Expect to get a long life of service if you keep it out of the damaging sun. Sure it is a bit of work but it also works well. Highly recommended.

    Absolutely love it!

    I originally purchased one of these for my jacuzzi, but starting using it on my pool. I really hate pulling out the long hose & fighting with the vacuum. This works great. Sure, you have to get in the pool to use it, but isn't that why you have a pool?
