Terrorist plot from the INSIDE out~ outstanding!
PLOT: 3 interwoven plots~ by Terrorists~ from the inside out and the Agencies~ (CIA, FBI, MI5, MI6 who attempt to hault them~ well done~ miniseries in 6 parts. 2004~ Al Queda is busy with some new plots~ Serin a deadly gas~ is released and KILLS the terrorists who are busy setting up a BOMB~ soon MI5 ...MI6~ ARE on the case~ using excellent covert tacts find a sleeper cell in the UK~ with maps of US subway systems~ and soon the CIA and FBI are drug into the plots~ this is well done~ basically three plots emerge~ PLOT 1~ a group of boys are being used to set off HUMAN bombs PLOT 2~ a physican is recruited because he is above suspicion to release Serin at an OPEC conference PLOT 3~ blued eyed blonde~ DEARBORNE Michigan muslim is recruited to set bombs~ in ships in the great lakes~ what ... LOTS of characters, the fun is seeing MI5 MI6 and the CIA /FBI go toes to toes and work together subtitles on characters keep it very clear who is who~ Dylan McDermott and Julianna Margulies are the USA agents in charge to stop the US plots~ and every one is searching for the mastermind. excellent plot, WE see the motives behind the terrorists including their training, VERY good acting, I HIGHLY recommend this mini series~ moves along very fast~ I GIVE THIS 5 OUT OF 5~ AND P.S the difference between MI5 and MI6 are like the USA~ MI5 is for domestic plots (INSIDE THE UK ( LIKE OUR FBI) AND MI6 is for external plots for the UK~ (like our CIA) I looked it up~

The Grid Do NOT MISS this one!
This movie came as a real surprise to me as I began my viewing with absolutely no expectations. In fact, I honestly felt I was going to watch the first 10 minutes (which is my threshhold limitation of reject or play) get bored and finish working on my ebay store items. I finished all 3 discs (265 minutes) and took only two essential personal breaks! This movie really picked up where Syriana (that I really expected SOOOO much more from) dropped the ball! On the back cover of the movie it states "A heart-pounding thriller" which is an understatement. It is a well thought out, balanced movie that really makes you stop and think about how vulnerable we really are in the US. The director Mikael Salomon pays incredible attention in full developing the charactors and interweaving their ... I have found myself mostly disappointed with movies seen lately; I ranked this as one of the two movies I have seen in the "EXCELLENT" category in the last YEAR! Don't miss this one!

still relevant today,
a well made series that tbs co-produced a few years after 9/11. the plot is comprehensive, including both sides of the Atlantic, CIA and MI-6. a great cast with good character build-up, and the story is not one sided as it delves into both sides of a very complicated argument that still rages today. if one wants a good series that is 4 3/4 hours total, then this is highly recommended.
