I've had Cutco knives since I married (50 years) and have never had a dull knife! The knives are well balanced in your hand and extremely sharp. They hold their blade sharpness for years. If you feel that your's needs sharpening, just sent it in to the company and they will sharpen it for free. I sent in my whole set to be sharpened but since I bought it over 25 years previously, they replaced the set free of charge.
