They Look Solid but Were Hard to Open
These two protectors arrived just ahead of a rain, so I jumped at the chance to install them outside on my Christmas lights. My biggest complaint was that I had a hard time opening them, so I gave them four stars instead of five. I even found a video online, but it was no help because the man doing the demonstration lightly tugged on the cover and it opened. I was able to open the latches okay but could not open the protective device itself until I resorted to a kitchen case knife to pry it open and feared damaging the rubber seal. I had to do this on both units. They look to be high quality, and although I had a hard time closing one of them due to the plug size, I eventually got both closed and they seem to be tight.
