    Incredible quality and sound!

    This is my 3rd Behringer pedal purchase and I can't believe the quality and tone all of them have delivered. I've had very low expectations with each one, because of the extreme price difference compared to other brand pedals offering the same tones. As soon as I plug in and play I am beyond impressed. At this price point I will eventually own the entire line of Behringer pedals, simply because I can't find a reason not to.

    Behringer TO800 overdrive

    this pedal sounds great with all my guitars, OLP w/dual coils, a few inexpensive strat copies...provides a softer edged OD than other "so called Premier" :tube screamers". i have 2 myself and have modded( meaning: pulled the stock 4558 chip and inserted a socket for easy replacement/experimenting..the stock and JRC4558 sound vitually identical when heard side by side[minor EQ differences]) 2others for my friends. this sounds good with both tube and SS amps; say, Rocpro1000 and a Blues Jr...+ they push eachother or other pedals nicely when output vol is used in moderation.have to be careful of input signal strength to other transistor/op-amp driven devices...or its "POOF" to what you are driving!. i use mine in front of my VT999 and it works awesome. a great OD for areasonable price. the ...

    Behringer Vintage Tube Overdrive TO800 Overdrive Guitar

    This ridiculously stupid that something this cheap can sound so, so, so good....lol. Why pay big bucks for an Ibanez tube screamer? Some are now asking on ebay $500 for one. That's insane. This Behringer Vintage Tube Overdrive TO800 sounds practically as good as the real thing. I have a real one that I owned for over 15 years. Side by side it's super clone...not close ...clone. I took a chance on this because mine was reaching higher prices and getting old and will need a good cleaning from little shorts and statistic pot scratching from the many years of service. I wanted to replace it with something that could at least intimate it. Guess what?...I tried dozens of big brand names out there...spent 100's of dollars....and only 29 bucks on this one and it blew all the others out...all of ...

    This is a great STEP on box, not a STOMP box.

    The Good: I'm very happy with the sizzling tone. Much better than an OD pedal I paid 3x as much that was stolen. Smooth controls that actually work. It's full size stomp box with a weighted piece in the bottom. Not pone to tip over if not strapped down. "On" LED is not blinding like my Behringer Reverb, which was stolen and being held hostage in an unknown pawn shop along with my Nobels ODR I. No harsh click when pressing the foot switch. This pedal will lay down a thick layer of grit if you push it hard but for that blues sizzle the 10 O'clock position does great. The Bad: You get what you pay for, and in this case it's plastic. It's hard plastic but still plastic.It should serve well for home or back up use. Battery install in a pain. Like other Behringer pedals it is necessary ...

    Thanks to another reviewer I picked up this pedal at Sweetwater Sound for $20.00 shipped. I didn’t want to spend too much money as this is my first pedal. It is definitely worth the money. It does not come with a power supply so you will need to purchase one or a 9v battery. Sounds great on my mini Crate amp.
