The game is overall enjoyable, but the only issue is the story mode, I am always stuck on the Shao Kahn fortress mission, the game pauses each time I try to move. But I digress, the arcade mode is fun, the dueling mode is fun as well. No issues on the racing mode. I’d assume the story mode is quite boring anyway, not enough impact. But overall the game quality is very excellent. Worth it.

i like the mortal kombat game i've purchased online, but there is one problem it can't be solved: the skulls are way too scary to start playing which i don't really like at all, i just hated the F...ing skulls!!!

This is the last Mortal Kombat ever on the Playstation 2! This game has just about every mortal kombat character made for this game. You also get to create a character and create finishing moves as well. Also you can play a mario cart stlye game which has blood and gore! This game has a adventure game in it. You and a friend can go through the game like a double dragon game. Great Graphics, Sound, Modes, And Gameplay! Controls are still the same as previous Mortal Kombat games. There all combo style. Muliple buttons to hit in order to see each characters moves and finishers. That's the only problem I have ever had with the series. I hope in future Mortal Kombat games, they will make the controls for casual gamers easier while still keep it normal for veterans. Madden 09 made this transition. So anybody could get in the game without feeling frustated.Read full review
I primarily bought this game because I'm a mortal kombat nut. I've always enjoyed the series ever since I saw it in the arcade when I was five. This latest installment is like a thank you from the producers to all the fans out there. I definitely wouldn't reccomend it to a beginner MK player and definitely not to one that has never played a fighting game before. The fighting styles are cleaned up in this MK. In the first three dimentional MK game for the GCN, PS2, and X-Box, Mortal Kombat: Dadly Alliance, there were two fighting styles and a weapon per character. In this game, there is only one fighting style and one weapon for each and every fighter. And I mean EVERY fighter! Every character from the MK series is in Armageddon, including Meat, the zombie with no skin which cameoed in a minigame in the original MK. Also the new motor kombat game is very fun and challenging, Mario Kart fans will love it. The new kreate-a-fighter mode is fun because you can make anything from really cool characters to insanely stupid chatacters. However, some of the game's faults are that it's hard to hit your opponents into death traps, something that was much easier in MK Deception; also the Kreate-a-fatality mode sounded cool in the MKA trailer, but it does lose it's appeal after figuring out an eleven hit fatality. Nevertheless, for veteran MK players, I highly reccomend it just for the fun of having the fat cop Stryker beat up the little known purple ninja Rain.Read full review
The game is amazing, I mean come on mortal Kombat is a classic. My little nephew was so happy about this game. The only problem I have with this product was the package the disk holder is damaged therefore making it hard to hold the disk. That is the only problem, which can cause problems for the disk due to it not being secure when stored.
