    History and personal story telling in one book

    This is a story of adventures of a night time bus driver in the loop of Chicago. He met many characters some of whom he knew for years as they rode with him. Some were in trouble. Some were a threat to him. He handled them all. An interesting snap shot of Chicago at night from 1935 until 38 years later when Charlie retired.
