    Buy A Whole New Unit

    Plugged the bulb into the inner gizmo, it blinked twice and then nothing. I'm assuming the inner thingie is shot, I would now recommend a whole new unit or an LED bulb instead of this replacement.

    Very good performer with minimal cost.

    The product has a very long life and sheds many lumens on the area below it. I'd say they last longer than the conventional fluorescent bulbs, and certainly those twisty CFL's. This is a really old proven technology and they are extremely durable. I'd own more of them if I had an application because I have been really pleased with the performance.
